With so many virtual events going on right across the folk scene, it can be hard to keep track – and that’s where The Folk Forecast comes in!

We publish events listings, news and our pick of the latest record releases on the UK folk scene, so you can get lots of handy info in one place and keep up to date. Subscribe by email to get the news first, or follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates.

Event promoters

If you are promoting an upcoming online folk event and would like it to be considered for the newsletter, please drop us an email.

We will mostly be focusing on UK folk events with a broad appeal, and it may not be possible to consider everything, but we’re always interested in hearing what’s going on! We would particularly be interested in hearing about events in Scotland, Wales and Ireland. If we can’t feature it in our main newsletter, we’ll do our best to share on social media.

The Folk Forecast is compiled by one volunteer, so please bear with us if we don’t get back to you right away.
